Honeymoon
Braxton planned on surprising me and wasnt going to tell me where we were going on our honeymoon until we were at the airport. He did so well keeping it a secrete our whole engagement but less then a week before the secrete slipped that we were going on a cruise. I was SO excited! I have never been on a cruise before and I couldn't wait to just relax and enjoy time as a newlywed with my amazing husband. We had so much fun! Our boat was incredible and the beaches were gorgeous. It was the perfect vacation!

Summer Update
I was so inspired to be a blogger and had all these great plans to once again try out the whole blog thing. I totally failed. My last and only post with all these "BIG PLANS" was back in March. Well ....SO MUCH has happen since then. The biggest and most exciting news is Braxton and I FINALLY got engaged! I know, I know "It's about time!!" I think that is the exact phrase we heard from everyone when we announced our engagement. We are both so excited that after 6 1/2 years of dating to seal the deal and get married.
We got engaged over Easter weekend while in Zions with Braxton's family. After a long day of hiking with the Peterson clan Braxton told me he needed to escape from all the madness and go for a drive. Not thinking much of it I jumped in the car and went along for what I figured was just another one of our famous drives. Driving back through Zions Park we decided to stop at this little hike we did a few years ago with all of our friends. Totally oblivious to what was about to happen we marched up to the top of the mountain and watched as the the sun set. As we were looking over the gorgeous canyon that moment that every girl dreamed of finally happen... Braxton got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. So unbelievable surprised I immediately burst into to tears as Braxton put my beautiful ring on my finger. It was so incredible and I am so extremely excited to be married and to start my life together with my best friend.

New Blogger
So I have decided to join be the blogging community! Time goes so fast I often fail to take time to write the little things down, or stop to take a picture of the moments that you want to remember. I am hoping by having a blog it will force me to slow down from my constant fast speed and remember those moments that come and go so quickly (so we will see how I do). This definitely isn't my first attempt at being a blog owner but for some reason this time seems to be a little different then my previous failed attempts. Lately I have had such an urge to just write, which is kind of weird because after writing paper after paper for school, writing "for fun" seems like the last thing I would want to do. So here goes nothing... I hope you enjoy my blog!
